Bulldozer Pumps and Valves are essential hydraulic system components that ensure stable power transmission, precise control, and efficient operation of crawler bulldozers. In Dingtui construction machinery, these components play a critical role in supporting transmission, steering, and working functions under heavy-duty conditions.

As key elements of the hydraulic system, Bulldozer Pumps and Valves directly influence machine responsiveness, operational stability, and overall performance in complex construction environments.

1. Speed Control Valve System

The speed control valve is a core component of the transmission system in hydraulic-drive bulldozers. Its main function is to ensure smooth gear shifting and reliable clutch engagement.

A typical DT16 configuration includes the following sub-valves:

Speed Valve

Controls gear shifting between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears for both forward and reverse travel, ensuring stable transmission performance.

Directional Valve

Manages forward and reverse travel direction changes, providing accurate and responsive control.

Pressure-Reducing Valve

Maintains stable clutch engagement pressure for the 1st gear, typically set at 1.25 MPa, ensuring smooth low-speed operation.

Pressure-Regulating Valve

Adjusts system main pressure to approximately 2 MPa, ensuring reliable engagement of all gear clutches except 1st gear.

Quick-Return Valve

Works with the pressure-regulating system to ensure smooth clutch engagement and complete disengagement during operation.

2. Steering Valve

The steering valve controls the hydraulic steering function of the bulldozer. In models such as the Dingtui DT16 (Model 144-40-00100), it is designed for high-pressure working conditions and serves as a key component in the steering hydraulic circuit, ensuring stable and precise maneuverability.

3. Pressure-Regulating Valve Systems

Pressure-regulating valves are widely used throughout hydraulic systems to maintain stable pressure and ensure reliable operation.

They are mainly divided into two types:

System Main Pressure-Regulating Valve

Typically integrated into the multi-way valve or speed control valve, this component establishes and maintains the system’s main operating pressure.

Torque Converter Pressure-Regulating Valve

Installed in the outlet oil circuit of the hydraulic torque converter, it maintains required back pressure (typically 0.45 MPa), ensuring smooth torque converter operation and optimal performance.

4. Work Valves

Work valves control the movement of the bulldozer blade, including lifting and tilting functions. They operate under high-pressure conditions to ensure precise and responsive working performance during earthmoving operations.
