Troubleshooting Bulldozer Rotation System Problems
When a bulldozer’s rotation system malfunctions, how can we quickly locate and resolve the issue?
1. Transmission Failure
A transmission failure can cause the bulldozer to lose power or experience unstable speed. To resolve transmission failures, consider the following:
1) Check if the transmission fluid needs changing;
2) Check if the chain is loose or broken;
3) Inspect the wear of gears and bearings in the transmission;
4) Check if the transmission oil pump or other components are faulty.
2. Axle Failure
Axle failure can cause the bulldozer to lose balance or become unmanageable. To resolve axle failures, consider the following:
1) Check if the axle hub needs replacing;
2) Check if the axle tires have scratches or wear;
3) Check if the bolts and screws of the axle assembly are loose;
4) Check if the axle fluid level is sufficient and if it needs changing.
